Soccer Cleats HS Code 6402.19: Import Notes

Most soccer cleats with uppers and outsoles of rubber or plastics (such as PU uppers on TPU or rubber soles) are classified under HS 6402.19 (“other sports footwear”). All of our current models — including the PU + flyknit kids models 796H and 796H-2 — are classified under HS 6402.19. (For reference only: shoes from other makers whose upper is mainly textile are classified separately under 6404.11; that does not apply to our range.)

How footwear HS codes work

Chapter 64 of the Harmonized System covers footwear. Classification depends mainly on the material of the outer sole and the material of the upper (by the largest external surface area), and on whether the shoe counts as sports footwear.

In China, the 10-digit export code commonly used for this type of product is 6402190090. On the import side, each country adds its own digits.

Our models

Most of our cleats combine a PU upper with a TPU or rubber outsole, for example 2606E Firm Ground Cleats or G2706 Turf Soccer Cleats, which points to 6402.19. Our flyknit kids models, 796H Flyknit Turf Cleats and 796H-2 Flyknit Firm Ground Cleats, combine PU and flyknit and are also classified under 6402.19. All 33 of our current models use HS 6402.19.

Import checklist

1. Confirm the HS code with your broker using product photos and material details. Our product pages list upper and outsole materials.
2. Check duty and extra tariffs. Rates differ by country and change over time. For example, the United States has applied additional tariffs on many goods from China, and Mexico raised tariffs on many footwear lines from non-FTA countries in 2026 — check the current rules before you order.
3. Check product rules. The EU and UK have chemical rules for consumer products (such as REACH in the EU). Tell us your requirements before ordering.
4. Agree the Incoterm. We quote FOB Xiamen: we deliver the goods loaded at Xiamen port, and you arrange freight and insurance from there.
5. Avoid infringing designs. Shoes copying famous brand logos can be seized at the border. Our catalog is for factory and private-label products only.

To compare offers, add up: FOB price × pairs + sea or air freight from Xiamen + insurance + import duty and any additional tariffs + local taxes + broker and port fees + inland delivery.
